Mission
Asan Award in Medicine seeks to help build a healthy society by recognizing and celebrating achievements of medical scientists in advancing our knowledge in medicine and for the benefit of our society.

Award Qualifications
- Medical scientists whose research or practice has made significant contributions to the development of medical science.
※ International candidates must have made contributions to the development of Korea's medical science. - Candidates must be alive at the time of nomination. All nationalities are eligible for the award.
- Candidates must be under 45 years old to be considered for the Young Medical Scientist Award.
